Overview

ValoReel is a simple browser-based tool for turning clips into vertical reels. We do not require an account, collect payment information, or upload your video files.

Your clips stay local

When you choose a clip, ValoReel reads and processes it inside your browser. Previews, edits, and exports are handled on your device, and ValoReel does not receive, store, or host your source clips or exported videos.

Basic website analytics

We collect simple analytics so we can tell whether the site is working and where to improve it. This may include page visits, device or browser type, referrer, and rough geography such as country or region.

Analytics does not include your selected video files, exported videos, accounts, passwords, or payment details. ValoReel does not have those things.

Your choice

You can turn analytics off from the banner on the site. If you do, ValoReel stores that preference in your browser and disables future analytics from that browser. Clearing browser data may reset the preference.

Cookies and browser storage

ValoReel uses browser storage to remember your analytics choice. If analytics is on, our analytics provider may use cookies or similar browser storage to measure basic site usage.

Service providers

We use Firebase Hosting to serve the website and PostHog for analytics. These providers may process technical data needed to deliver those services.

Changes

We may update this policy as ValoReel changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.
